Which Revit versions is BimE Tools compatible with?

BimE Tools is compatible with Revit 2024, 2025 and 2026.

How do I install BimE Tools?

To install BimE Tools, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your reserved area with your account credentials
2. Download the BimE Tools installer from the download page
3. Run the installer (.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions — the program automatically configures the Revit plugin and the MCP server
4. Restart Revit

If you don't have an account yet, register before downloading the plugin.

How do I activate the MCP server for AI integration?

To activate the MCP server:

1. Install an AI client compatible with the MCP protocol
2. Install the latest version of BimE Tools with MCP Server (the installer configures it automatically)
3. Start the MCP Server in Revit (MCP Bridge button in the ribbon)
4. Launch the AI client and connect it to the MCP server
5. Check in the Status window (MCP Status) that the session is connected

The AI can now interact with your Revit model! All major AI clients and CLIs are supported, including locally-run LLMs (privacy first).

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Send an email to support@bimenough.com with a description of the problem, the Revit version you're using, and if possible, screenshots or sample files.

Absolutely! Write to us at support@bimenough.com with your idea. The most requested features are prioritized in our roadmap.

Can I use BimE Tools in commercial projects?

Yes, you can use BimE Tools on any project, commercial or personal, without any restrictions.
